Finished in the beautiful Flamenco Red and with just 44’000 miles the car is in a superb all round condition.
The bodywork is completely rust free (extensively rust proofed from early on), panels are arrow straight and with an excellent and mostly original paint finish, the car presents wonderfully. It really is a very attractive car with great presence and is undoubtedly one of the best XJS' of this type available for sale.
The Magnolia leather interior is also in immaculate condition with virtually no wear. The leather seats, carpets, headliner etc are all in beautiful condition. The wood cappings and trim are immaculate. The switchgear and interior equipment all function correctly and are free from any wear/damage. The car has an excellent specification including cruise control, on board computer, memory/heated seats, 6cd changer etc.
The car retains its original ‘5 spoke’ alloy wheels that are in super condition with no kerb damage or corrosion and are shod with correct Pirelli tyres.

On the road the XJS performs faultlessly, starts 1st time with no smoke, has plenty of power, delivered just as you would expect it to be, smooth and endless torque. The auto box is smooth and changes without hesitation. The ride is classic Jaguar, there are no noticeable rattles or clunks from the suspension and on test drive the car was a joy.
The car has its original service book which is very well stamped along with a host of invoices and receipts showing some of the expenditure invested in this car's maintenance and care. The car has had 3 previous owners, the most recent enthusiast keeper since 2001 and 19'000 miles and all maintenance has been carried out by marque specialists. In that time the car has been garage stored.
